Coconut Berry Bliss Bites

INGREDIENTS

4 Dates, pitted and chopped

1 cup Almond flour

¼ cup Pea protein

½ tsp Salt

1 tsp Vanilla extract

2 tbsp Water

¼ cup Shredded coconut flakes (plus more for dusting)

1 RED VINES® Made Simple Berry Twists tray

 

01. Step One

 

Cut the Red Vines Made Simple Berry Twists into one-inch pieces and chop the dates. Measure the almond flour, pea protein, salt and vanilla extract.

02. Step Two

 

Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor and add two tablespoons of water. Run the food processor for about a minute, until ingredients are well combined.

03. Step Three

 

Add the shredded coconut flakes and process for another 30 seconds. The mixture will be sticky; you should be able to pinch it between your fingers.

04. Step Four

 

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Use a tablespoon to scoop the mixture and roll it between your palms to form bite-sized balls.

05. Step Five

 

Fill a small bowl with extra coconut flakes and roll the bites around until coated, then place back on baking sheet. Pop the bites in the refrigerator to chill for one hour.

06. Step Six

 

Coconut Berry Bliss Bites can be stored in the refrigerator for up to one week.

01. Step One

 

Add the popcorn, almonds, mini pretzels, chocolate covered peanuts into a container of your choice and mix together.

02. Step Two

 

Cut the Red Vines Original Red Twists into small pieces and mix into the same container.

03. Step Three

 

Mix all the ingredients together, and enjoy!

INGREDIENTS

Apple cider

1 Orange, zester and sliced

2 Apple slices

2 Cinnamon sticks

4 Cloves

2 Star anise

01. Step One

 

Peel 1 inch by 3 to 4 inch off of orange skin, slick off ½ inch slice.

02. Step Two

 

Put cider in saucepan, add orange peel, orange slice, apple slice, cinnamon, cloves and anise. Bring to a simmer.

03. Step Three

 

Remove orange and apple slices with slotted spoon, remove the rest with a tea strainer.

04. Step Four

 

Pour cider into a mug, garnish with Red Vines Original Red Twists, orange slice and cinnamon sticks.

INGREDIENTS

Cherry Filling:

4 cups Frozen tart cherries

1 cup Granulated sugar

4 tbsp Cornstarch

 tbsp Vanilla extract

Red Vines® Filling:

5 Red VinesⓇ Original Red Licorice Twists

1 cup Water

¾ cup Sugar

2 tbsp Cornstarch

 tsp Salt

2 Egg Yolks

Crust:

Your favorite pie crust or pie dough recipe for 2 crust pie

1 ½ tbsp Butter, to dot

1 tbsp Granulated sugar, to sprinkle

01. Step One

 

Preheat the oven to 375º F.

02. Step Two – Red Vines® Filling

 

To make the licorice filling, tear the Red Vines® into 1 inch pieces, place them in a small saucepan with the water and bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat. Remove the pan from the heat and let cool.

03. Step Three

 

Once cooled, whisk in the sugar, cornstarch, salt and egg yolks. Cook the mixture over medium heat, whisking constantly, until thick and bubbly. Continue cooking the filling for one more minute, then remove from the heat and cool to room temperature.

04. Step Four – Cherry Filling

 

Place cherries in medium saucepan and place over heat. Cover.

05. Step Five

 

After the cherries lose considerable juice, which may take a few minutes, remove from heat.

06. Step Six

 

In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cornstarch together. Pour this mixture into the hot cherries and mix well. Add the almond extract, if desired, and mix.

07. Step Seven

 

Return the mixture to the stove and cook over low heat until thickened, stirring frequently. Remove from the heat and let cool. If the filling is too thick, add a little water, too thin, add a little more cornstarch.

08. Step Eight – Combine Cherry and Red Vines® Filling

 

Use your favorite pie dough recipe.

09. Step Nine

 

Prepare your crust. Divide in half. Roll out each piece large enough to fit into an 8 to 9-inch pan.

10. Step Ten

 

Pour cooled cherry mixture into the crust. Dot with butter. Moisten edge of bottom crust.

11. Step Eleven

 

Place top crust on and flute the edge of the pie.

12. Step Twelve

 

Make a slit in the middle of the crust for steam to escape.

13. Step Thirteen

 

Sprinkle with sugar.

14. Step Fourteen

 

Bake for about 35-40 minutes. Remove from the oven and place on a rack to cool.

Chop up all your ingredients and mix into a large bowl, except for Red Vines Twists.

02. Step Two

 

Right before being served add your Red Vines and enjoy your sweet and spicy salsa!
